*Extended* Weekend Getaway

Steve's parents have a time-share at the Canyons Resort (Westgate Lodge) in Park City, and the last time we'd been up with them was when I was pregnant with miss Em back in the summer of 2007, so we were long overdue to go again! Especially when I realized that Emarie has never been to downtown Park City.... she's been to the outlets in the outskirts, but not to Main Street (you know? the main attraction!). 

We had initially only planned on staying just for the weekend (Friday night to Sunday night), but when we found out that they had upgraded Steve's parents to the presidential suite because they realized how hard it would be for my father-in-law and his wheelchair to maneuver around in a regular room. With an amazing common room complete with full kitchen, 4 bedrooms and a wrap-around deck complete with a jacuzzi.... Needless to say, we couldn't stay away. So we went back up for two additional nights (Tuesday and Thursday).

Even uncle Mike joined us from Arizona.... we were only missing Brian (Steve's oldest brother) and Amber (one of Steve's younger sisters) and her husband Kevin who had to stay in their new home of West Virginia due to work and school, but we're hoping they'll be able to join us next year!

Then we decided to take the chair lift to the top of the mountain.... a ride that ended up costing us more than $100!! Only because I lost my phone out of my pocket somewhere along the way... *SOo like me!

Actually, most of us enjoyed the hot tub the most!

Anyway, all in all it was a really nice little break! With some nice eating (in and out), a little shopping, games, and of course just fun company!
